Congratulations to your approval :thumbs: Yeah everyone needs a police certificate (from the beneficiary´s home country plus if he lived in some other country then from that country too) ...in some countries you need to wait to schedule the medical after you receive Packet 3 but in some countries you don´t have to wait so I suggest he calls the doc that´s allowed to do it in Germany and he will tell him :)

Hi all...I have been reading this site as I have been waiting for our NOA2 to be approved....and I got the approval email today!!!! yay!! I am trying to figure out my next move...I see alot of posts regarding a police clearance being needed but I have not read anything about this...does everyone need this?? Also...when do we schedule the medical? Do we wait for the package 3? Is there good reading material on the next actions I should be taking? Thank you for this website! ok enough ? and ! I am just really excited :dance:

Congratulations!! Happy dance time!! :dance::dance::dance:

Yes, you need a police report and as far as scheduling the medical, check the tab above on Embassy Info and see what it says for Germany. For us in Japan, you can't order a police cert until you get pkt 3 and show it to the police agency and then schedule a medical exam from a doctor on their list, not your own doc. Once we receive everything, we can schedule an appointment with our embassy. Every country is different as some can get a police cert as soon as they file the I-129f.

Good luck and congrats again!!

From what I've seen, if you get lucky when your NOA2 was approved and the crate is close to being filled up they may just include your NOA2 and send it out. If not then you will have to wait for the next batch (usually 4-5 weeks).

Evidence Question!

I am getting the I-134 Affadavit of Support and all the evidence of our continued relationship to take to Matthew at Christmas. I am wondering how many emails to print off?? I have around 1200 emails, logs of daily phone records for 9 months, passport entry stamps/flight itineraries/boarding passes for 7 visits in the last 9 months. I am sending all of the flight info from visits with copies of the passport entry stamps, and printing off phone records from my vonage account, so how many emails do I need?? also including about a dozen photos of us together. anything else??

for the I-134 I have a letter from my bank verifying account in good status and current account balances, date opened etc. A letter from my employer verifying employment, salary, date of hire, permanent full time status and last 4 months of pay stubs. Copies of tax returns and W-2's for 2004, 2005 and 2006. am I missing anything??

I am also including just for giggles copies of my passport id page, birth certificate, divorce decree from 1st marriage, NOA1 and NOA2, NVC receipt letter, and a new letter of intent to marry.

please review this list and make any suggestions! I am so nervous putting this last packet of info together for the interview my hand has been shaking! I just don't want to get it wrong!!!!

Thanks,

Sara
