05/29/2007 : NOA1

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

12/18/2007 : Packet 4 Received

01/02/2008 : Medical Appointment

01/09/2008 : Interview passed!

01/29/2008 : Visa Received

We are at NVC!!!!! There are not words for how excited I am! Now I just need them to get it off to London quickly!!! hopefully we will be fast like others here and be off in 2-3 days. I am hoping and praying we get an interview in time for our planned Feb 16th wedding. its a possibility :hehe: although we are prepared to move the date, I am really hoping we don't have to! I hope to hear my other VJ friends have good news soon too!!!! :luv:

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Jan. 7, 2008 - Finally got the interview date

Jan. 28, 2008 - Interview!! Approved!!!

Feb. 12, 2008 - Arrives in USA!!!

Feb. 18, 2008 - Wedding Day!!!!!!

Feb. 19, 2008 - Apply for SSN

AOS Timeline:

Mar. 12, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - Husband's SSN arrives

Mar. 14, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered at 7:52 AM & signed for by V BUSTAMANTE.

Mar. 18, 2008 - Check cashed!!

Mar. 21, 2008 - NOA's for AOS, EAD & I-131!! (Dated 3-18-08)

Mar. 31, 2008 - Can finally see AP & EAD online!!

Apr. 10, 2008 - Biometrics finished! Can finally see AOS online & EAD touch!

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Can someone explain the DHL tracking thing to me?? What do you do to track petitions going out from NVC? How do you know which shipment is yours? how do we know which ones are leaving from NVC?? I just didn't get how this works, but really want to try if I can have an idea of when our stuff gets to the embassy! thanks for any help! :luv:

you need to find out from NVC when your package left. Then go to DHL website, go to track be reference and enter in EXP ?? DEC 2007A

where ?? is working day before it was shipped. Mine was sent to london on (mon) 10th Dec but the ref was (fri) 7th. This will bring up a list of shipments...scroll down list for your country.

Hope thats clear enough. Sorry not good at explaining stuff. I either over explain or under explain.

You might wanna try calling DOS in a few days...they will know when it reaches the Embassy and if the Embassy sent u something :thumbs:

Hi all...I have been reading this site as I have been waiting for our NOA2 to be approved....and I got the approval email today!!!! yay!! I am trying to figure out my next move...I see alot of posts regarding a police clearance being needed but I have not read anything about this...does everyone need this?? Also...when do we schedule the medical? Do we wait for the package 3? Is there good reading material on the next actions I should be taking? Thank you for this website! ok enough ? and ! I am just really excited :dance:

06/06 he had to go back to Deutschland :(

10/06 I proposed

07/13/07 sent in I-129F application to CVC
