I was told by USCIS that it would take at least 60 days from NOA2 to NVC. Because they have a new shipping contractor, and they have to fill a crate each month for sending.

So on top of all this long waiting for NOA2 and all the new high fees for improving services they also find a new "better" contractor who requires stuff to fill their crates and ships it across USA in 60 days  Why dont they just ask us to pay 10 dollars more and send each of our petitions separately by US mail as soon as it gets approved? You know these days US mail can handle these things in like 3 days instead of 60

So now what can we do? Just keep waiting till we receive a letter from NVC that they got it? Or which USCIS number do you people keep calling?

So how can that happen? From the NOA2 hardcopy I read that USCIS completed all their actions and sent the petition to NVC and that we should hear from NVC in 2 weeks or something like that...nothing ever says on NOA2 hardcopy, that the petitions keep sitting there waiting for crates to fill

Yep..that's what my NOA2 says..they're done and it's been sent, but that's what's printed...not what's done any longer...now we have to wait for it to be sent. I called NVC at the two week point and they hadn't received it and was told to be patient that it can take several weeks for them to receive it. So you go from one wait to another

Well VSC is all over it. It seems thers are sent quickly.. Very odd

Yep, that's true..but they are taking longer to process NOA2's than CSC. There just doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to the whole process with the excessive waiting either for the NOA2 or waiting to be shipped.

Personally, I am getting very very low on my patience supply. When I called USCIS yesterday, I was told it could take 30 days for NVC to get my petition. I am at day 16 now. It appears they may be shipping once a week to NVC, so I am hoping to catch the next ride this week. I am sooooo tired of all this wait. It would be nice to catch a break and have at least one part of this process go quickly. Good luck everyone!!

I just spoke to my senators office about the long waits from the CSC to the NVC. I mentioned the difference in speed going from the VSC. She advised there really wasn't anything they could do to speed anything up. She called CSC and they told her it is taking 2-3 weeks to process approved K1 and K3 visas to be sent to the NVC.. I told her On Visa Journey it seems to be taking quite a bit longer then that and the CSC is saying it is taking up to 60 days. She is very nice in checking on this for me but still disappointing with the reality of this situation

Well I´m not sure what they are trying to say by the 60 days. I have to imagine that must be said only to stop us from calling cuz the NOA2 is only valid for like 4 months I think...so they better send it out to NVC this week

I was told by CSC it was taking 30 days and you were told 60 days. No one seems to get their stories straight out of that office. The end of this week will be 3 weeks for me, so I am hoping they will ship my petition this week. Some people who just arrived at NVC had only been approved two weeks prior. We shall see. Good luck to us all!
