I'v been tring to get through to the NVC all day yesterday and today.. no luck I am dieing to know if it has been shipped to Manila yet.

If you know for sure it was rec'd on the 15th, than it probably has been. They found mine and processed it on the 16th and when I finally got through after 3 hours of trying early this morning they told me it was being sent today.

Mine was received by NVC on Nov. 13 and shipped to Thailand on the 15th. Good luck.

I got through to the NVC and was told it was only entered into there computer system on the 19th. I thought that sounded kind of strange and the person I was talking to didn't seem like they knew what they were talking about so I called again and amazingly got through the first attempt. Amy there told me it in fact was shipped the 19th.

Finally!!! After speaking to 3 supervisors at CSC, USCIS and NVC..they finally found our paperwork. NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number. I'm so excited!! What a rollercoaster of emotions over the last few weeks, I'm so glad this part is over! Thanks so much to all of my friends here at VJ for your support! (I just realized that I spelled "finally" wrong on the other thread..too excited to type I guess )

1. How do I now track our progress moving forward -- to the NVC and onward? I've been tracking our progress to date on the USCIS website, but now that we have the NOA2 what's next?

2. How do you track "touches"? I see them noted in several posts; curious exactly what that means and where that information's found.

You can only find out if your case reaches NVC by phoning them. They should send you a letter when the case is assigned a new case number based on your embassy. Once the case is forwarded to your embassy and you have a case number you can make enquiries by phoning the Department of State
