I'M SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT IT. THAT SUCKS. I HOPE EVERYBODY CAN GET THROUGH THAT SOON.

BUT IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO BESIDES JUST WAITING FOR UNTIL THEY FIND IT OR UNTIL GIVE CLEAR INFORMATION ABOUT YOU PROCESS? DO THEY SAY WHAT HAPPENS IF FOR SOME REASON THEY DON'T FIND YOUR PAPERWORK? I MEAN, THESE ARE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS, THEY MUST KNOW, IT'S THEIR JOB.

I HOPE OURS GOES WELL IN THE REGULAR TIME ( I MEAN, IF THERE'S A REGULAR ONE...)

GOOD LUCK FOR YOU!

I know exactly how you feel. We were approved 10/11 and have heard nothing since. Getting the same run around by the NVC and CSC as you... NVC is saying 4 weeks to 90 days and approved petitions are sent in bulk from the service centers. The CSC is saying it should only take 4 weeks and they are sent out immediately after being approved. Our petition was touched on 10/12 so i am assuming that was when it was shipped but who knows.

Gotta love dealing with our broken gov't.... Nice of them to handle such important documents which hold nothing but personal information with such care...

congrats, u2rsobad.

couple of q's. how did you get a hold of CSC, i thought there was no contact info for them? what phone # did you use? what exactly did you ask them?

the reason I'm asking is i just got off the phone with a USCIS customer rep person. I used the 800-375-5283 number. she was really nice, and she tried to help me as much as possible, but all she told me was that as soon as it's approved from CIS, they send it right away to NVC. i tried to ask her when my case was sent from Cali, if it was sent. she said she unfortunately doesn't have that info. i tried to ask how often CIS mails files to NVC and she said she doesn't know. all she said was keep trying to contact NVC or try to contact the US embassy closest to beneficiary.

It's been 3.5 weeks since NOA2 and I've called NVC a couple times, they keep giving me the same old "2-4 week, or up to 90 days".

Your help would be greaty appreciated. If you know the # to California Service Center, that'd be a great help too. Thanks.

Finally!!! After speaking to 3 supervisors at CSC, USCIS and NVC..they finally found our paperwork. NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number.
