Quick Question - Do cases usually get a touch when they are sent to from CSC to NVC? I had my NOA2 confirmed on the uscis site on the 8th, touch on the 9th and hard copy 13th.

I wonder if it's been sent out yet???

I never received a touch or an email.

But, did you call CSC to see if it was even sent out yet? If not, try calling them first Marta. You can't go by what it says on the actual NOA2. I got my NOA2 on 10/18 and it was just sent out last week on 11/6. Good luck and keep us posted :)

u2rsobad or someone please what number are you calling to CSC to get the info on if the petition has already been sent to NVC or not yet? We tried 800-375-5283 but they aren´t helpful there...I know MrNice wrote the number somewhere but I can´t find it :unsure:

Hard to tell :) We usually don´t get any touches...

probably a dumb question, but how do you know when CSC sends your file to NVC?? do they update that online or send you a letter??

They don´t update online (I think) but you can call CSC to see if it left... trying to find out the correct number to do so right now :thumbs:

Hopefully my case came in with yours to NVC. We got adjudicated and approved on the same days, so hopefully mine is there too. I'm going to call and find out. :thumbs:

I just got my NOA2 and now I'm desperate for NVC number......this whole process seems once you finish waiting for one thing you have another thing to wait for....... :angry:

oh well....keep the faith I guess

07/09/2007 - NOA1 (hard copy 07/11/2007)

11/13/2007 - NOA2...127days after filing (hard copy 11/17/07)

12/22/2007 - packet 3 rec. (12/28/2007 returned)

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

05/31/2008 - WEDDING

AOS

07/31/2008 - AOS and EAD finally mailed

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/08/2008 - Check cleared

08/11/2008 - NOA1's for AOS and EAD recieved (reciept date 08/07/2008)

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

10/15/2008 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!YEY!!!

10/27/2008 - EAD IN HAND

01/12/2009 - AOS touched

01/26/2009 - Email from CRIS. GREENCARD PRODUCTION ORDERED..YIPPPPEEE

ROC

10/25/2010 - ROC mailed

11/15/2010 - NOA1 and check cashed

This part of waiting is not as bad as it may look like :thumbs: Actually pretty fast for some people (not always though) so keep your hopes up :thumbs::dance::dance::dance:

Thanks. Let me know what they say also ask if it is there if it has been shipped out. I am expecting Monday to leave NVC.

Just to let whoever is interested know...We got approval on Oct. 29. I decided to call NVC, just to see if they got it yet. Got through on my second try, 10 minutes on hold, waiting my turn. The guy was nice, but said that it could be 2-4 weeks after approval before they get the file. And he suggested that I wait until the Friday or Monday after Thanksgiving to try checking again...

7-03-07 touched?

10-29-07 TOUCHED!! And Later in the day-APPROVED!!! (found out on line on the 30th)

11-06-07 received NOA2 in the mail

12-10-07 NVC received

12-12-07 Left NVC

01-14-08 USC received packet 3 in the mail

01-21-08 Fiancee received packet 3 in the mail

02-13-08 VISA ISSUED

02-27-08 Fiancee entered the country

03-20-08 Married! (First Day of Spring)

AOS, AP & EAD

03-29-08 Mailed in AOS, AP & EAD Application

04-04-08 NOAs for AOS, AP & EAD (arrived in mail APR 7)

4-11-08 letter for biometrics arrived in the mail

4-22-08 Biometrics

Nick will be back in NE on 6th Dec (ok he arrives late so I'll give him until the 7th) to tell me what has landed in the mail box. I reckon as long as I can get interview feb I'm fine for the dates I want.
