I am hoping someone can please help us.

Me and my wife just sent a I-130/I485 package on the mail today. but after we got home we noticed that the filling fee for the form I-130 was wrong!

should i send the correct amount now or wait ? since we just mailed it a few hours ago.

i know it was a big mistake, but please we are desperate looking for help.

thanks.

You will need to wait. If you send the corrected fee chances of them matching it to your package are slim to none.

Just wait until they return it to you and you can send it back with the corrected fee.
