Hotels in MENA

My word, you all make me VERY THANKFUL that I stayed with hubby's family every time I went to Maroc. I only stayed in European hotels in transit, and now Im afraid to ever set foot in a MENA hotel

Ok first we stayed in a furnished flat in the European District of Cairo near the Stock Market.

Then we stayed at the Grandma's House in Luxor.

Then we stayed in another flat in Hurghada.

It wasn't until the last night we stayed in a hotel called Garden City or something like that in Cairo. It was around $30 USD. We asked for joining beds and had to show our marriage certificates which they took copies of. When we got in the room it was clean but had seperate twin beds. I wasn't impressed. I told him they didn't give us what we wanted and why don't we go to the Four Seasons. He said the Four Seasons in Cairo has prostitutes and he didn't want me to see that. I don't know if that is true or not but that's the rumor.

We went out to a movie instead and saw "Deja Vu" then came back and got 3 hours sleep before my way to early flight back home.
