Moving!

I have been boxing up as much as I can recently - only yesterday my husband actually watched my make a box. He kinda looked at me like I had 3 heads (no offense to those with multiple heads)... here is why: I fold the bottoms of cardboard boxes in a clockwise (or anti-clockwise) manner, as in one side, then the side next to it, and so on... I guess he folds opposite sides down then just tapes them up. I tape all sides, seams, edges, etc, but it just seemed to me that I did this because it added "strength" to the box.

What do you do?

Opposite sides, but I do tape all edges (as well as the inside).

What do you do?

fold opposite sides with 3 rows (one center and 2 overlap) of tape on the main seam and a single row of tape on all exposed seams (edges)

YAY Sonds like a wonderful opportunity.

I hate the moving part, but I LOVE the unpacking in a new place. Take pics of the road trip and the arrival in the new place!

We have arrived!! We took the route from Tampa, FL--->Macon, GA--->Paducah, KY---->Overland Park, KS... 4 new tires later (as ours sucked! thanks Charles), one cracked windshield, and one drugged kitty, we are finally here. phew!
