Thanks for the well-wishes all! It will indeed be a major switch for me. I'm stillpining away for the North East, but you gotta go where the gettins good! But erm.. snow is not quite looked forward to, neither is missing winter in FL! :(

Amy - we are headed to Overland Park I believe 1st week of December. It all happened very fast. Last Monday was inital contact from a recruiter, Tuesday was a phone interview, and Thursday he was on a flight out there for a Friday interview, and a week later its all wrapped up. Pretty efficient if you ask me.

A little show of my emotions at the moment : :energetic: :dancing::thumbs::hehe::blink::o:dance:

:P

Overland Park? WOW that's close to where we live here @ KCMO. Kool!!! Good luck LaL :)

Christmas in Kansas! w00t! Or less of a w00t depending on how you feel at that time. If you decide to drive there from Florida you're welcome to stop by at Casa Decrepit in Indiana for a cup of coffee and to be molested by 642 cats!

Congrats to you and the hubby on his new job. Maybe his greencard will be approved before you move, you never know maybe the good luck will continue.

THAT would be fabulous, and welcomed!

I am beginning to purge today. I have lived in this lil house for 7 years and luckily havent been much of a pack rat. Unfortunate thing is we *just* unpacked from the carpet installation we did 2 months ago, we packed like we were moving only unpacked all just a few weeks ago :P... at least this means we have boxes!
