Well, it looks like I am going to be moving to KS.:o Hubby got a fabulous offer from an outstanding employer. Paperwork was signed this afternoon and relocation assistance has been "started". It is a different direction in his career away from controls to more electrical so it might provide some much needed challenges. He has been sooo bored with his current job and frankly, been run ragged with the 70% travel he has been doing for years. He is tired, I'm tired. So much for all of our home renovations :D... although we are starting on the finishing touches to allow for a quicker sale when needed (we will keep the house for a bit).

I wanted to say thank you to Charles & William who both helped me sort through some local items while this was being worked out. :D

- LaL ((who will continue to be a little blue dot in a different big red state. *bites nails* (and too bad we still havent received a greencard approval so surely we are destined to have some muck up with address changes))

Wow! Congrats to your hubby.

When are you moving? I'm excited for you, and your renovs will definitely help the house sell in this market (whenever you sell it).

I don't blame him being tired with so much traveling, it'll be nice to be in one place!!

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Thanks for the well-wishes all! It will indeed be a major switch for me. I'm stillpining away for the North East, but you gotta go where the gettins good! But erm.. snow is not quite looked forward to, neither is missing winter in FL! :(

Amy - we are headed to Overland Park I believe 1st week of December. It all happened very fast. Last Monday was inital contact from a recruiter, Tuesday was a phone interview, and Thursday he was on a flight out there for a Friday interview, and a week later its all wrapped up. Pretty efficient if you ask me.

A little show of my emotions at the moment : :energetic: :dancing::thumbs::hehe::blink::o:dance:

:P
