I sleep with a pillow under my heard, one above my head, I take sleeping pills, wear earplugs and Charles wear nosestrips. Crazy, eh? Well, I have to sleep.

Try the combination of nosestrips (for him) and earplugs for you. IF you want something more radical, convince him to see a doctor. There's surgery to fix many breathing problems.

:o:blush: Oh my...time to see a surgeon, Charles...have your Uvula circumcised.

After just recently purchasing a king-sized bed, I now spend at least half of every night in the guest room due to my husband's continuous snoring.

He saw his doctor, who referred him to a neurologist in a couple of weeks to find out if he has sleep apnea.

He tried the nose strips, and they helped a tiny bit, but he is still snoring.

I can't wait until I can spend the whole night in our new bed and get a good night's sleep again!!!!!!!

Yeah the shoving thing works for about 30 seconds. Sleep clinic may be out of the question for some time, he doesn't believe that he snores.

The worst part is at night, he will grab me closer to him so we can cuddle and then start snoring right in my ear! :crying:

Tape him so he can hear just what he sounds like

Snoring.....lol.......the lovely sounds of it.........NOT.....lol

Hubby snores horribly.......but the funny thing is he only snores when I get into the bed......yep its true......he can be sleeping away while I am busy working on homework or just surfing the net but as soon as I crawl into bed.......the sheets begin to tremble.....and thus the snoring sounds emerge lol.

THe only thing I can do is give him a (gentle...lol kick) but with alittle force behind it.....or have him roll over. Works for alittle while but allows me enough time sometimes to fall asleep before he starts the cycle again.

Can you believe he has accused me of snoring as well???? I couldnt believe and yes I denied it as well..........until.........the little booger got his cam corder and recorded me LOL it was hilarious.......I snored but it wasnt really a snore sound......not sure what I was doing LOL.

Oh well........happens to the best of us right? lol

My Beagle snores, so I thought I could tolerate David's snoring... not. The only time David doesn't snore is when he sleeps on his left side. I can nudge him to roll over but he gets uncomfortable sleeping in the same position all the time.

I have resorted to sleeping in separate rooms when I've been desperate, but otherwise, I will sleep with a pillow over my head. I also turn on the bathroom fan to help drown out the noise...

Sigh. Paradise is not perfect.

They do take a bit of getting used to, I'll admit. I get itchy ears more than anything else, sometimes a mild earache for an hour after taking them out too. But given the choice between no sleep and an itchy ear I'll take the ear! :D

Place pillow over where the sound is coming from. Hold for about 10 seconds and then remove.

:thumbs::lol:

I usually shove hubster and tell him to roll over. Snoring seems to be worse when he's on his back. Bless him, when he does roll over, he's quiet as a mouse...

Same for my man, and myself for that matter. It always happens when he or I try to sleep on our backs. Rolling over usually solves it. Ive also had good success with special throat sprays.

Oh good gracious, so does mine. He sounds like he's half pig!

Yeah... earache is a better way to describe it. I'm a side sleeper so I don't think I could sleep that way if my ears hurt.
