Well, I think we now HAVE a Thanksgiving Thread (thankyou, JODO! ) so I'm going to move this to Off Topic and people can share their recipes and so on.

ever since I moved here I have always made Chocolate Trifle for Thanksgiving because I am not a big fan of pumpkin pie... his family loves it...

you just layer chocolate cake with some pudding and a big tub of cool whip and broken up pieces of Crunch bar in a big bowl....

for the pudding I usually mix 2 (4 ounce size) boxes instant vanilla pudding with 1 (4 ounce size) instant chocolate pudding.... although last time I made it I think I did the opposite 2 chocolate and 1 vanilla and it came out good... oops, you mix the pudding with about 4 cups of milk... you need to do this close as possible before assembling the trifle as it will get thick pretty quick....

My second attempt at Thanksgiving this year. I made a chocolate/raspberry version of key lime pie (if that makes sense to anyone) last year for desert, very yummy. I have tried pumpkin pie and it just isn't something I can really get to grips with.
