Gas leak in my apartment

update:

they put us in a hotel for the weekend, the leak is in the walls and they dont know where so they will tear down the walls next week and replace all the gas piping. the prob is they are not sure when next week they can get to it and it can take up to a week to fix. im homeless until its fixed

but my family is safe.

im being reimbursed for half months rent and all food i eat out, as long as i keep the receipts. I had to do ALOT of b**ching to get to this point. but i got it.

see all them free lessons on vj paid off

Ok so the weekend is over, the repair on my apartment will start today and we have been told we can not go back into the apartment until its done. but the leasing office has not extended our hotel stay and they stated they have no clue what to do until corp calls them. check out time is in 30 mins. and im at work, while hubby and son are still at the hotel.

That is TOTAL BS, Tara! Can't they put you up in a spare apartment or something??? You shouldn't be expected to have to pay for a hotel, especially since they can't tell you how long it will take to make the repairs. What complete jerks.

yea i agree, unfortunatly the only empty aprt they have is being rented out this week so they wont put us there, but they did say we can use it to shower and cook until its rented out. but once the work begins on our apartment WE CANT EVEN SLEEP IN OUR APARTMENT. so now what. i dunno. they are claiming a hotel is useless since we cant cook there either. WHAT ABOUT SHOWERS AND HEAT? it was 42 degrees lastnight here
