I bought a house a year ago for a rental property. Unfortunately, my tenant has not paid me since July. I am in the process of evicting her, but it is taking a long time, and is getting expensive to keep paying for the house with no rental income.

Somebody told me that if I lose the house due to foreclosure, my wife could be denied a visa. Is there any truth to this?

My income is around 80k per year.

Thanks in advance for answers to my concern.

Yep, there are no credit checks in the visa process.

Wow. That is crazy that it takes so long to evict a non-paying tenant. Good luck with it!
