Hello All,

I am a US Citizen and want to file I-130 for my mother and father. I have following questions:

1> In addition to the documents listed on I-130, do I need to send my parents photographs and G-325a with I-130 application?

2> Do I first file I-130 and then I-485, or can file all together?

Please reply if you know the right answer.

Thank you very much in advance.

-Vijay

You do not need to send photos with the I-130 if your parents are not already in the US.... if they are in the US then follow the filing instructions for I-130 & AOS...

I know it refers to a spouse but the filling is the same for any immediate relative who is adjusting status from within the USA.

Hello Kez,

Thank you for your kind reply. My parents are NOT in US. They are in India. So, for my mother and father's green card processing, all I need to send is:

- Completed I-130 application for mother and father seperately

- My birth certificate showing the names of my mother and father

- Marriage certificate of my father and mother

- Documents showinng the proof of my citizenship

Please advice if I need to send ANY other document along with the I-130 application, in addtion to described above.

Know that I highly value any valuable input you can provide in assisting me further.

Best Regards,

Vijay Agrawal

You do not need to send any other documents at this stage... just what you have listed... once the I-130's are approved there are other documents that will be required....

Good Luck

Kez
