Today I got another ASC appointment letter in the mail and from what I understand it, that's another appointment for biometrics. I was actually hoping for my Interview appointment, but I guess I have to wait some more.

Can anyone tell me why they need a seconf set? My initial biometrics were taken 12/29/2006.

I am also confused about what local office is having my case. My case was pending at CSC and got just recently transfered back to a local office which I assumed was New Orleans. But this appointment is in Dallas.

Do they just take my biometrics there or is this the office where I will have my interview as well.

If I want to talk to someone there, do you think I need to schedule a seperate Infopass appointment or can I just try my luck and ask someone there what is going on?

I am pretty disappointed that this again is not for an interview, my case is pending for almost a year now.

Any comments or advice, what I should do?

Not sure if this is the same...but I had my biometrics for my EAD in June and then received another biometrics notice

a week later.

I went to the 2nd appt. and showed them my original stamped notice and they said the 2nd notice was an error.

If you have time...make an info pass appt. to clarify your situation.

Thanks guys!

Well, I don't have a problem with a second set of biometrics and if I make an Infopass appointment, I'd have to drive there again anyway.

Was just wondering if I could maybe talk to someone right there while I am there or if I need to make a seperate appointment?

After waiting for months and months of nothing happening, I am glad, at least they are doing something with my papers....

Sometimes the finger prints are not good enough. The technician who takes your finger print must be careful and take them propertly by pressing your fingers just right on the machine (not too hard and not too easy).

This has happened to a lot of people.

Yeah, maybe. But they used the fingerprints for my EAD already so they must have been okay. I don't know.

Maybe they just want me to think they are doing "something"...llol
