Hampshire Police Certificate

Hi everyone

I have just read the thread from the person needing a Police Certificate in Manchester. I need to get one in Hampshire and am hoping to get to my local police station tomorrow to do that, but I am assuming that the Hants form will be the same or at least similiar to the Manchester one?

What is the exact name of the form I need to request?!! Is it just called 'police certificate', and what is it (information I require) that I have to tick?! Is it convictions?! Feel silly asking this, I am sure it is obvious but omg these forms are doing my head in!

Does anyone have any idea of the processing time for the Hants police/ New Scotland Yard before the information is sent back to me?

Thanks. Any info will be really appreciated. This wait is doing me in!!

Since your going in person, take some photo ID, a proof of address, £10 with you.

They will ask them what the cert is for, and just tell them that it's for a visa application, and they will give you the right form. You need the prosecutions / convictions box if there is one.

It's called a 'Subject Access' form and here's Hampshire Constabulary's info on it.

I would call the number in the link in a comment above mine and make sure they will accept your form in person. In Thames Valley, you're required to apply by post.
