Your profile and timeline indicate Adjustment of Status approved, you filed an I-864 when adjusting status. Whats this abour NVC and I-864 there? Please give us better details?

There is a fee paid to NVC for I-864 when processing a CR-1 or IR-1 visa petition, but not when adjusting status.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Well, the reason u see Adjustment of statut approved it is because i have been adjusting my statute once i get to USA....but if u open my timeline u will also see that NOW i am requestion information for of my children ..We are working on a CR2 visa ....therefore the Beneficiaries are my kids Ano and Joe..

I should probably remove the confusion ....cose thats what it causes..

Well.. do u know how much the fees are?

Thank you

The rule is that there is a fee of $70 to file with the Dept. of State an Affidavit of Support only when it is reviewed domestically (i.e. at NVC). The fee does not apply if filing the I-864 at the embassy or with USCIS for adjustment of status. Furthermore, I thought I read it somewhere, if you have several cases pending at NVC at the same time, you only pay the fee once, but I can't seem to find that statement anywhere right now. Maybe it was stated on the letter above the payment coupon?

There are two fee bills - the I-864 (AOS) fee bill ($70), and the DS-230 (IV) fee bill ($335+$45=$380/case).
