Hi all, this is my first time posting here but since I started the whole AOS process I have visited this forum numerous times for advice from all of

you knowledgeable members. Now I'm 7 days away from going to my AOS interview in Pittsburgh and I'm a little bit anxious. Going through all the mountains of papers I have

discovered that my medical examination expires exactly 2 days before I go in for my interview. Do I need to fork over $150 for another exam?

Thanks in advance for your responses

No you dont. Your responsibility is to file your paperwork before the expiration of your medical exam, to save the extra fee and exam so you are fine. They can then take as long as they like to process it. IE, my medical exam expired the day before my NOA 1 on the I485. It was still acceptable as it was still current when my papers were filed.

The only thing that might need updating and it is only if you havent included it in your original petition, is the supplement for vaccination. I originally included only my DS-3025 worksheet (fully vaccinated) but still needed the vaccination supplement transcribed by a civil surgeon for the interview. It depends on your interviewing officer.

Hi,

I got a little confused after reading all of the posts regarding medicals and vaccination supplements forms.

So could someone please confirm that I don't need another medical for my AOS interview.

here is my timeline:

- medical done overseas in June '07.

(big brown envelope taken away at POE)

- arrived in US on K3 in July '07

- sent AOS packet with I-693A (vaccination supplement) in July '07

- received AOS interview notice for November '07

You are fine, you do not need to do anything further especially since you have already included the vaccination supplement with your original petition.

Had you waited to file your AOS after June 08 then you would of needed a new medical exam.

Thank you for replying.

So for my interview we just need evidence of an ongoing relationship? (e.g joint bank acct, health insurance, pics, marriage license) I am also going to be 5 months pregnant at the time of the interview....i hope that would be sufficient enough to prove a legit marriage:)
