Of course, I've always approved of her ;)

Laura's interview was at 9.....at 10:50 I got a call from her..she was approved! I have to admit, when I saw her number ringing me, my heart fell. Based on embassy reviews I wasn't expecting her call until 12 or so. My god I was relieved when she gave me the news!

So she should have her visa in hand next week (they mail it to her). I was already going to visit her, so now she hopefully will be coming back to the US with me! I'm so excited! I'm hoping we can get a half way decent fare and a seat for her on my return flight.

01/07/05 ---- Met online

03/10/06 ---- Spent a week caravaning together in the UK

04/14/06 - 07/11/06 ---- She visits the US

09/15/06 - 12/11/06 ---- She visits the US

09/15/06 ---- I formerly ask her to marry me

03/11/07 ---- I spend a week with her in the UK, met her family.

11/20/07 ---- Laura comes home!

12/18/07 ---- We got married!

01/18/08-01/21/07 -- Short honeymoon near Gatlinburg, TN

04/19/07 --- Check posted to my account.

04/20/07 -- NOA1 entry on USCIS web site.

08/06/07 -- Approved! (108 days from NOA1)

08/10/07 -- Received NOA2 hard copy

08/27/07 -- NVC received packet

08/29/07 -- NVC sent packet to London

09/04/07 -- Received NVC letter and case number

09/27/07 -- Packet 3 mailed to embassy

11/01/07 -- Interview -- APPROVED!

Our AOS Journey

02/01/08 ---- Mailed Packet

02/02/08 ---- Packet received and signed for in Chicago

02/09/08 ---- Check to DHS posted to our bank account.

02/27/08 ---- I-485 transfered to CSC

03/08/08 ---- Biometrics, went fine.

03/21/08 ---- 512L, Authorization for Parole issued

03/29/08 ---- EAD Card arrived

06/13/08 ---- Laura's card ordered by USCIS

04/15/10 ---- Filed I-751

06/02/10 ---- Biometrics

07/14/10 ---- Lifting of Conditions Letter -- APPROVED!

December 15th 2007 - Packet 3 received

January 18th 2008 - Packet 3 returned

February 13th 2008 - Packet 4 received

March 4th 2008 - Medical @ 1.00pm

March 5th 2008 - INTERVIEW @ 10.00am - APPROVED!!

March 11th 2008 - Visa received!

April 30th 2008 - Flying home at last!!!!! (POE: Dulles - Washington DC)

July 12th 2008 - Wedding date!

Oh great news!!! :thumbs: Congratulations!!! I know the feeling of missing someone who is so so so so....far away from you...I've been in that situation too. Well goodluck for both of you. :luv:

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

congratulations. i got approved on monday, although i'm pretty sure by the time i got through the queue at the courier desk and out of there it was actually tuesday. :pop:

- Mar 28, 2007: NOA1 (received by mail)

- Apr 03, 2007: Check cashed

- May 31, 2007: NOA2 (received by email)

- June 07, 2007: NOA2 (received by mail)

- June 08, 2007: Application received at NVC

- June 12, 2007: Application sent to US Embassy in London (according to the NVC official we called)

- June 22, 2007: Received letter indicating that the approved petition is to be forwarded from the NVC to the US Embassy

- June 23, 2007: Received package from US Embassy

- Jul-Aug, 2007: Encountered a bit of a bureaucratic nightmare trying to obtain my HK CNCC

- Sep 05, 2007: Medical

- Sep 26, 2007: Sent all required forms and checklists back to the Embassy

- Oct 29, 2007: Interview - Approved

- Nov 04, 2007: Fly to the US

- Jan 05, 2008: Married
