Hi,

I am filling out the EAD, AP and AOS documents for my kids (K-2). There are portions in the form where it ask for their "A" or File number. I basically have an A number which is indicated in my I-129F NOA and also on my I-94. On their case, the immigration at the POE just put "P/A, and my name on it on their I-94, so i am wondering if I put that one or just put the word "NONE"?

Lastly, how many passport size photos should be submitted? I saw in the step by step guide in filing AOS, that 2 photos are required so I plan to submit 2.

Need your advice.

Thanks.

Vilma

I can't help about the K-2's A number situation, however regarding the photos:

Consider the AOS, EAD and AP applications separately. You said you are applying for all three, and they each require 2 photos, therefore you need to send 6 pictures total. Attach 2 to the I-485, 2 to the I-765, and 2 to the I-131. Those three forms may each end up in the hands of different people, each of which may be in different offices, therefore it's important that they each have a complete package.

Truth be told, however, I've read about numerous cases here who didn't send the required number of photos and didn't have a problem.

They take your picture at the biometrics appointment anyway, and that picture ends up on your green card and on your EAD card, so I'm not sure why they need pictures for those, other than for identification purposes/for their internal files.

On the other hand, the photos you send them for the AP is the photo you get on your AP document.
