Barack Hussein Obama's photo (that's his real name)......the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE.....how in the hell can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief????

This doesn't change my opinion of Obama one bit. I don't like his voting record in Congress, his position on several issues, his politics, and I have no plans to vote for him anyway. I don't like the other Democratic candidates either.

If the hand over heart thing is important to you, I guess you're going to get your knickers in a knot over this devastating piece of news. If not, you'll just care if the guy knows his politics...or not. My opinion is of course, that way too much emphasis is placed on etiquette and not enough on policies.

Acording to flag regulations....

"The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature."

Section 8b of the Flag Code reads, " The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground..."

Yeah, this is something that's so common here (flags as door mats, bath mats, etc). Growing up I don't remember ever seeing our Philippine flag (design/pattern) as a door mat or being used as anything else but as a flag. Guess people think it's patriotic to display the American flag as a door mat? **shrug**
