Hi All.

first i would like to say congratulations to all those who received replies to their applications with success, and good luck for those who are waiting for replies.

I am a gradaute student and so is my fiancee. she is in the US on an F1 visa. we have been together for little more than a year and decided to get married. I am a US citizen and she is an international student. seeing that both of us are new in this we are in the process of gathering as much information as we could about the topic of marriage visa applications. So this is a general topic and your experiences are GREATLY appreciated. Below are some questions that we are facing:

1) she has been in the US for more than five years... so does a K3 visa apply (K3 visas are for those who are outside the US and want to come in)? IF not, what would be the appropriate application?

2) how long should we wait after mariage to apply for visa applications?

3) Do I / she need to be in a full time job to apply for a "marraige visa"?

4) is there a certain income that we need to be receiving in order to apply for a "marriage visa"?

...

Thank you so much for reading this topic and for replying with your advice and tips!

P.S. i found several websites with standard information, what i am seeking is real information from real people who had the real experience of going through visa applications.

You need a visa to enter the US, sounds like she is in the US.
