Happy Halloween to everyone!!!!

We choose to spend Halloween enjoying a nice dinner and some drinks at our local pub. The doorbell drives our older dog crazy and actually makes her physically ill the next day from all the excitement and stress. She would much rather come along with us and wait for us in the car where it is peaceful.

We'll enjoy a Lemon Drop Martini for you all!!!!!!!!!!

Yea I have a painfully ironic story about halloween tonight...

'So my son was dressed up as the grim reaper tonight, and right after school we decided to hit up some houses before we went out for dinner. So he goes down the street to trick or treat and he stops at this house to get candy and he knocked quite a few times, and finally someone came to the door to say something and then he left.

When he came down the driveway to meet us he said: "She was really sad, she had no candy...she was crying"

I didn't think anything of it.

Then we were leaving in the car about 10 minutes later and the ambulance is outside, and it turns out there was an old lady who lived in that house who died.

Think about it...my son was dressed as the grim reaper and shows up at the house to ask the old ladies daughter if she has any candy. OH THE IRONY!

Donne moi une poptart!

whoa!

So we went out to my Mom's birthday party - all good, much fun etc etc, but I have a cat who really doesn't like people knocking on the door, it scares her.

So I put a note on the door CLOSED - SORRY - HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

Cat says no one knocked.
