6-18-04: A 3 1/2 day trip finished, Steve settled down in Sacramento, CA.

6-29-04: Successful Interview @ KL Embassy!

7-22-04: Arrived home in Sacramento, thru SFO.

~7-25: Steve's Happy B-Day

8-04-04: Appied for SSN --> Card received 8/13/04

8-10-04: Married at Sacramento County Clerk-Recorder

8-18-04: AOS and EAD filed @ USCIS Sacramento Suboffice

9-18-04: NOA1 received

9-21-04: Name corrected (to right order) in SAVE thru a phone call and an email

10-12-04: Appointment for EAD. Got the card.

10-27-04: Fingerprinting done.

11-16-04: AOS Interview. A breeze... We got approved!

12-06-04: Permanent Resident Card came in mail.

9-02-07: I-400 filed

4-21-08: Interview in Sacramento. Approved/passed. Case then forwarded to Los Angeles (as we live here now)

7-11-08: Naturalization Ceremony. Certificate received. Glad to be a citizen.

7-16-08: Filed I-130 for Mother.

8-14-08: I-130 approved. Kept calling NVC automatic # for case update - no record found.

9-08-08: Mail received from NVC with AOS (I-864) bill & DS-3032. Paid fee online, mailed DS-3032 form w/ barcode.

NVC automatic phone service still says no record for either INS # or NVC #. But as long as things are moving...

Got my 1st NOA (I-797C) in the mail today telling me that my application was received and to double check my name, BD and address.

If you read the testimony from the head of the USCIS,you will know the average process time for N-400 has been prolonged from 7 month to 18 month. Conseqeuntly, the ETA for your citizenship will be around March of 2009.

In this case, all september filers will not be able to participate the vote for US President of 2008 on November.

So, be peaceful! Just put this out of your mind as long as you have your fingerprint done like I did and review this one year later.

Finally, the interview letter has arrived, the date: 4/25/08 at 1:30 PM, I better start studying .....

My interview notice just arrive today.

I think I have chance to vote for President of US on November, 2008. *Yuhooo*
