I've been to china twice to visit her, with another 3 trips likely before we marry.

I went in January of 07, then again in July/August 07. I'll get to see her again in less than 2 months, but it can't come quickly enough.

Brian

I agree, Brian :)

Let's see.

I went there August 06 for 3 weeks.

P came to US December 06 for 2 weeks.

He came back to US March 07 for 4 weeks.

One more time for him August 07 for 6 weeks.

I'll be going to Germany Dec 20 for 2 weeks and he'll come here a week after I return and stay for 5 weeks.

Then we won't see each other until he moves here in July (hopefully).

I feel pathetic complaining about having to go 5 months without seeing him b/c I know some VJers have gone a year or more. I do NOT know how we do this....

(yes I do, it's love)

We shouldn't have to do this. So much precious time is wasted in paperwork/legalities.

Just a non-serious question for everyone. How often do you see or visit your fiance overseas?

For me I met my fiance end of Nov of 2006. Filed for the K-1 on Aug 22nd.

I will be going Manila this middle of November. Its already my 4th trip since I met her. (trying to see her and spend as much time with her)

We met when I was in Manila in March and I went back in October for 3 weeks. I plan on going back in March 2008 and every 6 month until she gets to the US. I filed the papers 2 weeks ago so I might just wait for her interview then go back for a few weeks then fly back with her. Makati is a great area I purchased a condo there the last time. Great deals there with interest free.

We were lucky considering we met in person in January while I was in the U.S. for an internship and that I stayed more than 8 months, 4 of which we lived together!

I got back to my country 6 weeks ago and he's gonna be here in 28 days!

We are planning to spend a month here and 3 months in the U.S. in 2008, while we wait for the papers to be processed (haven't filed yet though :( )

A short consideration about what jundp said: I haven't seen my fiancé for 6 weeks now and it seems like 10 years. I'm sure that everybody here feels the same way and that we do this for love. But honestly, I really don't know if I could go a year or more without seeing him... And I'm sure I love him a lot!!!

I think that it depends on the kind of person you are (hope I wasn't off topic  )
