Just an update for me: Since I received a biometrics appointment letter early last week, I was sure there wouldn't be any RFEs for me. Well, I was wrong, though. I received RFE yesterday for a copy of my birth certificate, which I already submitted with my original package. I guess I sent in only one copy and that was not enough for both AOS and EAD.

I will mail it out today if possible.

Good luck to you all. (F)

For those November filers who have received biometric appointments already:

When you view your case online, is there a separate notation made when the biometric appointment letter was generated?

I'm getting a little worried. I mailed I-485 on Nov. 6 and received NOA-1 (generated on November 16). However, I have not received a notice regarding the biometric appointment, and there is no notation online when I look at my case either. I see that some of you who have similar dates as mine have biometric appointments in early December. I'm beginning to worry my biometric letter may have been lost in the mail....or misdelivered or something. The postal service in my area does not have the best track record...

So I was just wondering if anyone's online case noted the generation of the biometric appointment letter...if so, at least I could rest assured that I haven't received it because it hasn't been generated yet, and put my overactive imagination to rest, at least for now.

I realize I'm probably worrying a lil too soon. :)

ROC Journey:

01/19/2010 - Mailed ROC paperwork to Vermont Service Center

01/21/2010 - ROC package arrived at VSC

02/25/2010 - Biometrics taken

04/23/2010 - Conditions lifted! :)

05/01/2010 - Ten-year GC received...on hubby's birthday! Yay!

I got my biometrics letter on the 24th. The only thing I noticed that made me hope I'd be getting my biometrics appointment soon was that I got touched on the 20th, but the message did not change. It still says "we received this application on Nov 9th" or something like that.

I did not receive any e-mail confirmation despite requesting that online. I guess the reason I didn't get it was because they didn't change the message - just the date...

I received my NOA1's for the AOS package yesterday, dated Nov 21st. I've just realized I also made the mistakeof only inlcuding two passport photos, so I guess I'll get an RFE for the EA or something. I think I must have got 'form blindness', there were so many instructions to read through and I'd double and triple checked my forms, yet I still managed to miss the fact that I needed two pics for EA and two for the I-485.

I think it would be helpful if the VJ AOS guide made that a little clearer - they're great otherwise.

We almost missed that, too!

Mine shows last updated on 11/25, which it has since the first time I looked at it soon after getting NOA1. Makes no mention of what the update was.

I think you're worrying too soon. Plenty of time for that later.

Did you include an english translation?

At least they were quick with contacting you about it

I thought this part of the process would be easier, but it's far more stressful than I imagined!
