:dance::dance::dance: Approved :dance::dance::dance:

Our interview was at 2 this afternoon. We arrived about 20 mins early, which was a good thing, since I brought my camera phone (I know, idiot) and had to take it back to the car before entering the building. My wife and son went in while I went to dump the phone, and I caught up with them in the waiting room about 10 mins before our appointment. A few minutes later we were called in for the interview, a little bit before the scheduled time.

After swearing us in, he went over the application with my wife while I kept my son entertained with the world map on the office wall. I think the hardest question for her was when she had to remember my birthdate. Spent a little time explaining about how I adopted my son before we were married, making her relationship with my son ???? Not sure what he ended up writing down for that. Then he asked about where and how we met. He asked for evidence that we lived together. I told him it was pretty thin, since she doesn't yet have a driver's license. All I ended up showing him was a credit card statement with both our names, and a health insurance statement for my wife and son. Had to explain how it was cheaper to insure them with an individual plan rather than add them to my employer's group plan. He looked through some pictures we had brought, showing us before, during and after getting married. He asked if we both had house keys, and compared them. That was about it, then he said she was approved and should get GC in two weeks. No stamp in passport, and he took the EAD. Said if we need something before 2 weeks to make an appointment.

By 2:11 she was calling her mother with the good news as we walked back to the car.
