Yeah I'm not too worried. At least we have some time to try and sort this out. And if worst comes to worst I will just have to redo the medical exam... and hopefully we can find someone who wouldn't charge a ridiculous amount.

EAD on mail today

Riza,

Did you get an email from CRIS that notice of approval sent or just the card production ordered (twice)? I'm asking coz I also got 2 emails that card production ordered, so i wonder whether they will send me another email before they actually mail the EAD.

EAD on mail today

I did not received notice of approval just card production twice for my EAD and got it today in the mail..Just keep checking your mail box.. it will be there soon. God bless to all..

Another update: finally made contact with the congressman representative. Wow that was tough. Kept telling me I had to get the medical done again IN THE U.S. and if I didn't want to I'd have to argue with immigration! But then she finally saw the part on the i-485 that says I'm not supposed to have to do it again since my medical is not yet a year old, and told me to fax her some things. My husband is about to do that right now. Hopefully we will have good news that our case is back to processing soon, and hopefully my medical is not lost for good!

Melyssa...good luck! I hope they are able to help you rather than having to go through the expense and inconvenience of another medical!

Congrats to you all!

I have a question though. We recieved a notice that our I485 case should be approved within 60 days if biometrics and interview are not a regual procedure. We did biometrics in December BUT yesterday we recieved a notice that we have to go to the interview on March 24th! That's in over two months. Does anyone know if there is a way to make the interview date closer and what does this mean with regard to the processing of our AOS and EAD.... Also how come most people here do NOT have to go to an interview and we do? (I use "us" but I really should use "I" but we're in this together so I keep it plural)

Any info would be very appreciated!

@bichon82 why did you file for EAD before you filed for AOS?

im pretty sure you cant change the date for the interview unless later than the date you got. it depends on how busy your local office is!
