SENT IN MY AOS ON MONDAY , FORGOT THE (EAD)...I-765, HOW SHOULD I SEND IT IN ?..WITH WHAT KIND OF COVER LETTER...? ...MY WIFE WANTS TO KILL ME HELP.......

You're going to have to wait til you get the NOA for your I-485. Once you get it, you can send in the I-765 with a copy of the I-485 NOA to prove you paid the $1010 (as that includes the EAD fee). If you try to send it in without a copy of the NOA they will not be able to match the two applications together. Unfortunately you will have to wait til you get the NOA.

Finally sent my AOS package 11/02/07.

It was received in Chicago on 11/04/07.

I received the electronic return receipt in the e-mail on 11/05/07.

Now I'm biting my nails wondering what I did wrong.... because I'm sure there's "something"

We did sent our package in chicago 11/02/07 too i really wondered how could we checked if they received our package already. As i can see your timeline you did tracked it down that they received the package and thru electronic return receipt, i hoep you dont mind to let me know how could you do that, thank you in advance.

Finally sent my AOS package 11/02/07.

It was received in Chicago on 11/04/07.

I received the electronic return receipt in the e-mail on 11/05/07.

Now I'm biting my nails wondering what I did wrong.... because I'm sure there's "something"

We sent the package with USPS as premium mail and certified with a return receipt and also added the feature of getting an electronic return receipt. After that all I had to do was to go to the USPS website and sign up with my e-mail address. I used the tracking number on the receipt to track the package on the USPS website and saw that it was delivered Nov. 4th. During night the USPS systems were updated and I received the electronic return receipt in my e-mail on Nov. 5th. The "real" return receipt didn't arrive in the mail until Nov. 9th.

Thanks for the quick reply, we didnt know about that premium mail, so we jsut send it to regular mail, so the only thing we could do now is to wait. You think theres another option how could we know that our package are already on thier hands? thanks again

Oops... it was called Priority - not Premium but oh well...

I read a bit on the USPS website about Return receipts and it seems like you could pay extra to get one after you've already sent the package but it looks like that is only available if you purchased one of a number of different types of services. You can always call or visit your local post office and see if there's a way they can help you out.

set ours Friday, 11/2, Overnight certified; delivered first thing Monday morning so got a refund of postage

Now I'm going to wear out the pavement walking back and forth to the mailbox 3 times/day until the NOA arrives.
