My fiance arrived in US in September. We were married in October and filed for AOS in October. We have received AP and EAD Card. Today, I received an email from CRIS stating that my I-129 was approved! I think it is odd, but I am hoping that it means someone is reviewing our file in preparation for the AOS approval and realized this was not updated????

Just got a notice this morning that my AP was approved yesterday. For those still waiting...I hadn't had a touch on it since 11/20/07 so hang in there. Congratulations for all of those approved for EAD and AP in the last few days!

Does anyone know...for AP is there a letter that you bring with you when you travel or something for the passport?

We have just received our AP in the mail yesterday (hurray!), and they would be 2 official letters (the size an format of your NOAs) with your name and data on them, as well as your color picture. You need to have both letters with you at all times when coming back from travelling abroad.

Congratulations to all of you who got your EADs, APs and approvals of them :thumbs:

We have received e-mails that our cases arrived in CSC and pending. EAD has not arrive yet...

It was approved on friday, and I just got it today :D

I was thinking since AP and EAD were approved together they might arrive together too, but I guess the EAD card takes maybe a little longer to print or something?. Whatever the case, I'm going to be stalking the mailbox like a haaaawk!! :dance:

thanks caro and congratulations to you getting your ap in the mail, how long did it take after you got approved for you to recieve it??

It was approved on friday, and I just got it today :D

I was thinking since AP and EAD were approved together they might arrive together too, but I guess the EAD card takes maybe a little longer to print or something?. Whatever the case, I'm going to be stalking the mailbox like a haaaawk!! :dance:

Received my EAD card in the mail today!!!!! Time to get the SSN and Drivers License next week!

Congrats to the most recent approvals! Hey, can someone tell me if the AP is good for one trip or multiple trips? I'm anxious to book a flight but don't want to book it if I can only use the AP a limited numbers of times.

11/07/07 - AOS package sent off to Chicago lockbox

11/09/07 - applied for SSN & got it (with married name!)

11/15/07 - package received

11/19/07 - NOA1 received for I-485, I-765, I-131 (snail mail)

11/20/07 - SSN card arrived in mail

11/20/07 - touch (I-131)

11/24/07 - notification for biometrics received (dated Nov. 20)

12/04/07 - Biometrics appointment

12/05/07 - touch (I-485, I-765)

12/21/07 - touch (I-485 transferred to CSC)

01/04/08 - touch (I-485)

01/06/08 - touch (I-485)

01/08/08 - EAD approved, card production ordered

01/11/08 - EAD card production ordered...again

01/15/08 - EAD approval sent

01/16/08 - AP approval sent

01/18/08 - AP touch

01/24/08 - AOS touched

02/07/08 - AOS approved, card production ordered

I'd think multiple, if you requested such? I'm not 100% but in my application I asked for permission for more than one trip. It would seem weird if it was good for only one trip... all that waiting just for one trip! Maybe someone else knows for sure though.

March 6, 2007 - I-129F package sent

March 21, 2007 - I-129F NOA2

October 17, 2007 - K1 interview - approved

October 19, 2007 - K1 arrived in mail

October 21, 2007 - US entry

October 23, 2007 - Wedding day

November 27, 2007 - AOS, EAD, AP package sent

December 7, 2007 - Received all 3 NOA's for AOS, AP & EAD

December 10, 2007 - Received letter for biometrics appointment

January 2, 2008 - I-485 transferred to California

January 3, 2008 - Biometrics

January 16, 2008 - RFE for I-485

January 22, 2008 - RFE for I-485 arrived

January 23, 2008 - AP approved

January 25, 2008 - Case status finally updated: AP approved January 23!

January 31, 2008 - EAD card production ordered

February 2, 2008 - AP arrived in mail

February 5, 2008 - Sending a letter/RFE to CSC

February 5, 2008 - EAD card production ordered (again?!)

February 7, 2008 - RFE/letter arrived at CSC

February 7, 2008 - EAD approval sent

February 9, 2008 - EAD card received, dated January 23rd!

February 25, 2008 - CSC finally acknowledges receiving RFE

February 27, 2008 - I-485 APPROVED!

February 27, 2008 - Online case status: notice mailed welcoming new permanent resident.
