I was wondering is there any November filers got their EAD or have their case transfered to CSC so far?

I just checked my status on the USCIS website and it hasn't changed since the day after my biometrics almost 2 weeks ago. How will I know if they have transfered my case from the National Benefits center to CSC? No EAD or travel papers yet. The National Benefits center says the processing time for EAD is 11 weeks and the processing time for travel docs is 3 months. We'll see I guess.

And here I was so happy getting "touched" today (2 days after my biometrics). Guess there is no use getting excited about it.... :(

No worries on "bursting my bubble", I can probably use the reality check. ;)

I'm with you on that one! We already have a transfer in the November thread, I didn't think that would happen so fast so.... Good luck to all of us! :)

I just received email from CRIS dated Dec. 18, 2007 that our AOS was transferred to CSC. I am quite relieved because I believe that cases transferred to CSC will be approved without an interview (based from previous posts I read). Things are moving pretty fast, I just pray that I won't be getting an RFE.

Tks for the effort, zzzonzo, I added my NOA date, I finally got them today. Do you use in your table the Notice date or the date when NOA is received in the mail? I put the Notice date.

May 25th - first set of documents received home in Bucharest (list of documents to present at the interview) - based on fiance's request to open a provisional file

Did my biometrics in Atlanta today. Got there 10 min before my scheduled appointment and there was a long line outside the building. Neither cellphones nor purses were allowed inside. Fortunately I had read here and knew to bring a copy of my Marriage Certificate. One girl in line had to go back home to get hers because the name on the letter and her ID didn't match.

After about 20 minutes I was let in but my husband had to wait outside in the rain (despite tons of free chairs inside). Once inside I had to stand in line again for about 15 min to get the form to fill out. After doing so I got my number and could sit down and wait for another 20 minutes or so before getting my photo and fingerprints taken which took about 5 minutes.

In all it was pretty painless and the people were very nice but it was way too much waiting, especially knowing my husband was outside in the rain though he apparently had a great time. He was outside trying to help people keep dry offering them room underneath his umbrella. :lol:

I had to wait outside for 2 1/2 hours! I was soooooo mad!

I use the notice date if available. Sometimes I am only able to find one date and it's not clear which it is.

so we got a notice on Tuesday (12/18) saying that we need to do another biometrics on January 4, 2008 for AOS only as FBI couldn't read the fingerprint. We did a walk-in yesterday and the officer allow us to do the biometrics early. I check online and did not see any update on the AOS. Isn't that after biometrics there should be a touch on the same day?

completed the biometrics today. the officers wouldn't allow me in the building with my husband. i waited outside for about 40 minutes and we left! he has a small cut on one of his fingers so i'm hoping his fingerprints will come through okay!!! *crosses fingers*

I-485 and I-765 touched today after biometrics

Received new biometric appointment letter today! Appt. scheduled for December 29th.

I've read that it's ok to go early...as in earlier than scheduled on the day of the appointment. I believe I also read that someone went a few days early and that was fine too. Can someone confirm that this is true? If so, we just might go this weekend and get it done...

Its such a relief to be back on track!!! :P

I've had luck going days, even weeks early. But I think I maybe got lucky and showed up on the day my local office uses for walk-ins (Wednesday here). According to the guard there, they schedule few appointments that day and basically will take anyone who walks in with an appointment letter, no matter when the appointment is supposed to be. I've read of similar operations elsewhere, but your office may be different. Good luck.
