This being my first Halloween, I was at HEB with hubby and saw some pretty nice decorated cookies, and got all excited and asked him if we could get a few to hand out on Halloween. he said "you can't hand out cookies, it has to be wrapped candy"...and I proceeded to ask naively..."mmm, why?"

:innocent:

With that said...we got a bag of nestle fun size 100 pieces: baby ruth, crunch, butter finger, and laffy taffy

I hope we get at least a few trick or treaters...I wanna hand out the candy!

Plus whatever candy we have left, I'm giving it away anyways, because Justin and I have been eating way too much lately with the wedding and all

Saludos,

Caro

I can't buy a big pack of candy (I mean anything with chocolate, I don't like a lot of candies) and have candy for days, weeks, months. If it last 24 hours it's a huge achievement. :P

Just gone 9.30pm.....usually have the young ones arriving between 5-7 and the older ones up until 9pm. I don't know what's up this year

it has got more popular over the past few years here in the UK, last year I ran out completely. Maybe it's the neigbourhood, one adult was saying hardly anyone were opening their doors....shame cos the kids looked so cute!

The ones in London I saw were teenagers who weren't dressed up & went in to pubs asking for $$!!! SO NOT what Halloween is about.

Halloween was never a huge event in the UK (after all, Nov 5 is just around the corner) but it's not new, there have always been some who dressed up and did the house calls.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Which are nothing like M&Ms...as for the 'orange' one debate...

I dont mean the chocolate smarties.....these are like little sweet tarts, but ohhh so much better!!

Trick or Treating started here over an hour ago, all i have had is 6 kids :( But the one girl had her black lab puppy with, and it had angel wings and a halo on

I like chocolate smarties, and they are a lot better than M&M's in my opinion. I guess you are talking about something from the US, in which case I don't know what they are :P
