I try to get my x-mas shopping done early( i try to do most of my shopping online- I hate crowds!) but it seems like every year I am in the stores on x-mas eve for the last minute deals!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Thanks God it's Wednesday already. Unfortunately Hicham and I won't get any trick or treaters this year because our apartment is tucked away and no one in our complex has any kids. I might go over to my parents house to pass out candy.

Allousa- sorry to hear about the list not being updated.

Everyone else- have a great day

Happy Wednesday! Last day of October. Time for X-mas shopping! Has anybody started yet?

I was just thinking to myself yesterday that I want to start being the kind of person who gets the shopping done before Christmas Eve. I think I know what to get for most of my family so I mind as well just buy it now. Do you shop early?

My mom is taking my kids to get their Christmas present today. My oldest is getting a pair of Uggs and my youngest is getting a new Nintendo DS since hers is trashed.

Is it right that I'm jealous of my kids???

Happy Halloween. We went to a great Halloween party Saturday night. Had so much fun dancing and enjoying the costumes, though I must admit we made a gorgeous couple too. I took yesterday off and started some Christmas shopping, I love it. We have our cruise in December so want to be ready for Christmas when we get back since we won't have much time left! I hope everyone enjoys the day.

I understand. I was so annoyed when I went to Costco about a month ago and saw Christmas decorations. All I could do was shake my head!

I went to the mall on my lunch break ( ) and Macy's has decorations up too!!!!! I love Christmas... but even I get irritated when they're putting decorations up this early. I don't mind when they're up for Thanksgiving, but before Halloween?!

Im pretty sure muslims in muslim countries dont celebrate xmas, but do muslims in america or in interfaith relationships celebrate xmas? Just curious.

Chanukah is definately celebrated differently in america than it is in Israel and there was some adjustment for my hubby. He just cant understand the gifts, etc. There isnt really chanukah gift giving in israel. Last year was the first year our oldest son was really into chanukah but it kinda got out of hand with all of the toys that he had at the end. I have been holding back this year, havent really bought him any toys at all in the last 6 months or so, but making mental notes of everything I am going to get him for chanukah!

My hubby also thinks its outrageous and says that since he came from an extremely poor family he only had one toy growing up but his mother denies this. I dont know who to believe....
