Can you get Real Audio clips on Amazon.com to play? I downloaded Firefox and Thunderbird and overall like them, but Firefox won't open to play Real Audio clips. Opens a box to install hurl.exe and I have read where people installed that and had a hell of a time to get ride of it.

Can you get Real Audio clips on Amazon.com to play? I downloaded Firefox and Thunderbird and overall like them, but Firefox won't open to play Real Audio clips. Opens a box to install hurl.exe and I have read where people installed that and had a hell of a time to get ride of it.

There's an IE tab button you can put on firefox for those moments you need IE. It changes the browser engine to IE right inside your window.

Thanks I hope it works.

I had real player work on amazon with firefox. It opened the download box AND player the real player file.

I use the extension "always open this page in IE" and have never had a problem with it... it does just that opens the page in IE.

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

Works great. I just right clicked on the icon at the bottom of the screen and added the Amazon.com URL, so now even if I select Amazon from my Firefox bookmarks it opens with IE and I can play the clips.

I also installed the weather foxcast too. Nice having the current and next two days weather right at the bottom of the screen. I did the color tabs too, but I really don't use the tab feature that often.

I ahve the current threat level plugin installed - it pops up on the bottom right hand side of the browzer. Currently it says "scared" :P in yellow :D

Also have the paranoia pop up installed. Every now and again a little pop up appears on the bottom right that says "don't panic: the world is a good place" or "don't panic: nobody is watching you" - if I want it to appear again I ust go to the "help" tab, and there's a little option to press saying "I'm scared!" - I find that amusing at times :P

I shall go and check the other ops out - thanks - in between last minute packing! :P(F)

It installs the Tiny URL creator, so all you have to do is right click on a Webpage and click on "Create Tiny URL" and it takes the Webpage's long URL and makes it into a small one and puts it on the clip board.
