Since Montreal is no longer taking phone calls, i had sent them an e-mail regarding my interview date and They responded Your interview date is Nov 5th and you will be recieving a letter in the mail.

Well it is now Oct 30 and i have not got the actual interview letter from their office as of yet. I have emailed them but they have not got back. Is this normal not to receive the letter this close to the interview date ? Is there certain instructions included in the appointment letter ??

I've heard of this happening to others. Best you can do is hope for the interview letter but if it doesn't come to bring the email with you.

I didn't go through Montreal so maybe someone can share the contents of theirs with you. My Vancouver letter was just a date, time, location and a blurb about not bringing in electronics, etc.

Just wished to add my wishes for a successful experience at Montreal. Take the e-mail and you should be OK. All other letters or documents in your possession (in at least duplicate!), especially those you submitted should be taken along, just in case. When I was booking the medical I heard of people getting the letter two days before the interview and presumably there are people who get their letter after the interview. As long as you're ready with the e-mail and other documents, you should be OK.
