Hello

Our I 129F got approved yesterday, by October 29, basically what are my options now? My I 130 was approved on July, 2, and I also received the IV bills in August, but I was waiting for either this form to be approved or the I 130 for my kids, which were received on June, 22 at CSC. Now my question is:

it is possible for me to get the both visa here K3/K4 and the CR1 in Switzerland? My question is because with the CR1 it would save alot of money, but if I wait for the kids I 130 to be approved and then come to the point when mines is, it will be too much time and we(my husband and I) have been apart for so long!

Does anyone know what it is possible to do?

Thank you for your help,

Andrea

It is still possible both the CR1 and K3 petitions will end up in Switzerland. The K3 will probably be at your embassy in a couple of months. But it will probably take 3 months or longer to get the CR1 through NVC even if you use Jamses' shortcut.

My suggestion is to have your spouse contact his Senator or Congressman and explain your delema with your kids I-130. It is possible that the Senator or Congressman could speed the approval some.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

If you haven't paid the IV fee bill yet, you are still very early in the process of the CR1. Your K3 will get to the embassy way before the CR1 is complete (not to mention the I130 for the kids still pending). You might want to just ride the K3, it should be at the consulate in a little over a month (maybe 6 weeks), versus 4 months more for CR1.
