I love cheese...especially smelly cheese! It's dangerous, I could eat Locatelli Romano cheese by the spoonfuls. I don't but I could! It smells strong but I love the taste.

As for cheez whiz, it's mandatory on a homemade Philly cheese steak sandwich. YUM. My dad and nana are from Philly and they love it that way, so I grew up on it that way.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

you could be my twin, me too! I (L) cheese and smelly cheese, all kinds of cheese. And I miss brazilian cheese, specially the catupiry and the cheddar that comes in a cup and it's creamy (I still haven't found cheddar cheese in the States that taste anything half as good as that, they all taste like rubber).

We're lucky in that we have a great grocery here that stocks a large variety of imported cheese. It's a little expensive, but we'd rather pay a larger amount and buy less for good cheese rather than buy a pound of #######.

I hear what you're saying Amber. Cheese, as well as all dairy products, at least here in MO anyway, have really risen lately. I'm a huge cheese lover. It's one of those things right now, that I'm not willing to sacrifice on though. I buy some products that are generic, so that I can have name brand things that I like. I guess running a cafe, you have to maybe look at increasing your product price, as the prices arise, or maybe not putting cheese on an item unless it's ham and cheese or something? Tough choices!

Global warming is making the push for ethanol higher. Which raises the demand for corn. Causing rising prices in dairy products.

Does that work? :D

We buy our cheeses either at our local organic farmer's market, specialty cheese shops, or Whole Foods, sometimes Trader Joes. It's SO worth it. I have some organic monterey with bits of green onion and morel mushrooms right now in the fridge that IS TO DIE FOR! Yes, you CAN get very well made American cheeses....and I don't mean processed American cheese slices....ick. As for cheese product...who knows what's in that stuff.

awwwww I love trader joes I wish there was one closer to me

There's one in Indy, but that's not really near you in Evansville, you'd have better luck going to the one in St Louis than Indiana or Ohio. :( I'm not sure how long it takes you to drive to Indy.
