This is the wrong forum for any of the visas using I-129F, but after NOA1 you just wait.

this is the way the world ends

this is the way the world ends

this is the way the world ends

not with a bang but a whimper

You're playing the waiting game now. Might want to check out the regional forum for others dealing with your same consulate. Being in the same boat can often help make the time pass more pleasantly and give you a heads up of what to expect in the future. Good Luck

You can look at the I-134 Affadavit of Support (first confirm that your Embassy wants the I-134 and not the I-864) and begin to think about how to complete the form, but all of your documents must be current when you pull it all together for your fiance/e.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

But while you wait with the rest of us, will you please busy yourself for a few minutes and complete your timeline? :D Also, if you could complete your profile info - i.e. what coutry your fiance is from, what service center, what you filed for etc., it helps us to answer any questions you might have in the future. thanks!

Also, if you check out the K1 flowchart on the guides above, it gives you step by step directions on what to expect next.

Good luck on your journey!!
