Hi Canada Forum!

I was wondering and i hope somebody can answer my question. I live in Michigan and my husband and I are would like to go to Canada for a visit. My husband has a K3 visa. Has anybody else on a K3 experience any problems crossing the bridge? I know K3 is multi-entry visa but i just wonder if anybody had good or bad experiences doing this??? Thank you. I would have to go to Canada and have the POE stop my husband from entering back into the states.

Since your husband is not a greencard holder, he will need a visa to travel to Canada as a Jordanian citizen. Travelling back to the U.S. on his K3 is not a problem since it is multiple entry but he will definitely need a visa to travel to Canada.

Thanks Misa, i guess we wont be making any travel plans soon then. I have no idea how lengthy the visa process is for Canada.

There is a Canadian Consulate in Detroit that issues visitor visas - you may wish to contact them directly and find out the time it takes for a visa - from my understanding it isn't that long of a wait or demanding a process. Here is the link to the visitor visa information at Canadian Immigration: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
