I do congratulate you though on arranging the wedding so quickly. Your girlfriend (you weren't planning to marry) visited you for a week. Five days into the visit, you decided to marry. She was with you for a day after the wedding. Sounds like it took no more than a day or two to get your paperwork together and do the deed. Awesome!

I totally agree. You didn't plan to get married when you set the dates with both women. And after you married the first one, it would have been totally rude to tell the second one to cancel her trip and to tell her why. The married one who wouldn't divorce her husband but wanted to see you for...um...a good time? Let her spend the money and come on over, try to let her down easy by telling her you "planned" to get married (not that you already were), fend off her advances for a week, and then try to get rid of her after you've met in person to "see. hmmmm." That's the gentlemanly thing to do.

I married my husband because of his good qualities and strength of character. He has incredible patience, self control, steadfastness, even tempered, positive thinking, maturity.

We share some qualities like practicality, curiousity, humour, open-mindset.

I am different from him because I am impatient, moody, adventurous and a bit of a risk taker.

So he imparts me to be more patient and even tempered while I encourage him to take more risks and adventures in life.

It's a good balance.
