Did you ever play that old 8-Bit/16-Bit fighting game "Barbarian". That was one of the best games :D

This one? No. Looks bloody brilliant tho!

My faves were Spyhunter, Saboteur and Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

Whoah! :o I'd buy it just for the girl on the box.

One of the useless things I know is that woman's name - Maria Whitaker. She used to be a page 3 model in the 80's. I used to get this games magazine - back when readers used to send in pictures of scenes from their favourite games. Quite a few readers sent in crude drawings of Maria.

And the Barbarian is actually "Wolf" from the UK version of American Gladiators.

I wonder what Wolf is doing now.... Besides going bald.

Michael Van Wijk, (born in Bombay, India, 9 August 1952) aka Wolf, is a former professional sportsman, bodybuilder, actor and TV presenter in the UK.

Van Wijk is most well-known for his role as Wolf on British TV endurance sports game show Gladiators, a role he held for seven years (1992-1999). He is also known to video game players for appearing on the cover of the computer games Barbarian 2 and alongside Maria Whittaker in Barbarian by Palace Software. He was also a victim of the 'animals' edition of the TV show Brass Eye.

Van Wijk used to run a gym in Hayes in Bromley, Kent called 'Wolf's Gym'. It was open until the late nineties and included facilities geared towards bodybuilders, wrestlers and boxers.

Van Wijk, second wife Paula, and their four children now live in Auckland, New Zealand. According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, he runs "Chipmunks Playground and Cafe", an indoor adventure playground for 3-12 year olds [1].

I only played the core game. Thinking about picking up the Orange Box at some point.

I completed Half-life 2 and episode 1...probably should play them again before I play ep. 2 though... UGH!

Im gonna be swappin out some pieces in the next month or so. Need a new mobo, ram, vid card.

These new vid cards suck the power, so gotta make sure you have a big enough power supply. Also the next gen DX 10 games will look like ####### on the older vid cards.

I got my eye on this card, its a freakin monster!

well a bit late into the conversation but we love our playstation and Medal of Honour but the best has got to be Devil May Cry, we got Devil May Cry 2 and were not impressed but Devil May Cry 3 looks promising. Only just got back into it all since moving over here but hope to get many more games. I also like the Myst games and want to get the last one.
