02/13/06 - GREEN CARD ARRIVED

4/22/06 - Driver's License!!

Congratulations !! :dance::dance:

I can apprecaite 100% how long and frustrating those months have been. We had to wait 145 days for our NOA2 and just like you we never received a touch or RFE before that magical email arrived !!

NOA2 to interview is normally a much faster process. You'll be together before you know it !!

Timeline Summary

11/30/2007 - I-751 Mailed to Nebraska

12/28/2007 - NOA Received (application has been forwarded to California)

01/09/2008 - Biometrics taken in St. Louis

03/27/2008 - I-751 Approved, 10 Yr Greencard in the mail !!

12/20/2016 - N-400 mailed to Phoenix lockbox

01/17/2017 - NOA Received

01/25/2017 - Attended biometrics in St. Louis

09/29/2017 - Received I-797C notice dated 09/27/17.  Interview Scheduled for November 6th @ 8am

11/06/2017 - N400 interview in St. Louis.  Approved !!:jest:

02/05/2018 - Notice of Oath Ceremony date received.  March 1st, 2018 @ 8.30am

I wonder why it took so long...... I hope this doesn't reflect the real processing times! :o

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Thanks and for those wondering why it took so long I think that just happens to some from what I have read here. It's the way the process goes in their office there are links on here that describes the procedure. I will try to find them again if any are really interested. To cut it short they have baskets of say 25 files and if yours just happens to be down the bottom of one of those baskets and then other petitions that come in after your date get put on top, well you wait longer.

Anyways, so love my man, not long now. (L)

8-8-2005 Met in person in the US. Visa Waiver.

22-10-2005 Engaged.

2-11-2005 Flew back to Sydney. Many tears!

5-11-2005 Began visa journey.

2-12-2005 Shadow (Andrew) posts petition.

7-12-2005 NOA1 dated the 5-12-2005.

..................Seems like never ending waiting.

12-4-2006 NOA2 Yee Haa!!!!!!

11-5-2006 Packet 3 Arrives

12-5-2006 Posted Reply and did Police Check

15-5-2006 Medical in Sydney

..................Interview went well, just waiting on Criminal History checks to post back with that envelopee and passport to get visa.

5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

Way to go Stella,

I so happy for you. I understand to wait is too much. But it helps to have all these wonderfull people to be there. We read each other stories. Not one seems to be the same. All are as unique as the people who are trying to get their loved one's to this side of the border. I truly hope that the rest of the trip is quicker. I am still waiting, but I think I have so many strikes that it may take a some divine intervention to see us out of this. What is important is this is your day. So congrats and God speed.

Dear Scott, your love will see you you thru, I'm sure...........and divine intervention does happen. I will be checking here to make sure it does and putting in another word for you. (L) And I think it was 'mercuryroad' on here said, "we are the fairy tales". Kinda like a good love story is made by the difficulties it takes to make it.
