Packet 3 and Packet 4 - what are they?

Yes, they did.

If you select Damascus in the link you provided, it opens the Appointment Processing instructions page.

Great...so what does Packet 4 contain? And do they send out identical copies to both the applicant, and the petitioner?? Sho is supposed to mail it back to the NVC?

Yes, you and your spouse will receive identical packets. Packet 4 is just the interview letter which has the day and time of the appointment and it also has a list of all documents that were received by the NVC. We took that list to the embassy on the day of interview just in case they told us they're missing X document, that way we could say "as per this list, the NVC has it and it's checked off". We also made copies of every document we sent them as well. It's better to be overprepared than not be prepared at all.

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

I think you'll get more of a response from the Middle East/North Africa section of this board since all of the embassies tend to handle things a little differently.

ok what part of 3 packet did u return before geting interview and what is DS130 jrdbr@aol.com
