MEDICAL.......HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi I have a question about my medical. I had a medical examination on Feb 22 2006 for my K3 visa in Naples, Italy. Now I am in America and we have already started to file the AOS form. I have a few questions. When we went to Cleveland last week to this clinic to do the last vaccination (chicken pox) I got really confused. I know that if you come on a K3 visa and already had a medical overseas whitin the past year, you won't need another medical, but only the vaccination supplement or whatever its called. The Indian doctor at the clinic said that I needed a full meidcal again!!!!! We called the immigration service number and we talked to an officer who said that I had a complete medical and I only needed the supplemental. Now there are a few problems.

The officer said that the medical was inside the sealed envelope I gave to the customer when I entered the United States in detroit POE. But naples gave me 2 envelopes to carry:

1 Big envelope was the chest X Ray and the vaccination worksheet

2 smaller envelope with a bunch of documents

When I gave the officer the big envelope with the X ray and the vaccination worksheet he gave it back to me and he told me he didn't need it!!!!! He just got the smaller envelope with the documents.

Now I am scared of a lot of things: what if the medical was not in the small envelope? In case Naples Consulate didn't put it there what can I do? And about the worksheet....I know that this worksheet is not a copy is the original one thta I have now in my hands and the officer didn't want it!!!! Now....what can I do with it? Cna I send it with the AOS?

Another question: I had all the vaccinations form Naples, they gave me MMR because it was the only one I needed. They didn't have the Chicken Pox one so I knew I would have to get it in the States. So we went to this clinic in Cleveland and they gave me the vaccination but they also gave me the Supplemental but without an envelope.....what can I do? They say I didn't need an envelope. Is this gonna be a problem? Because if it is I am screwed. Cleveland is pretty far from us and gas prices nowadays are pretty high. I don't wanna come back there just for an envelope. I mena it was their fault, not ours.

Damn I hate this AOS routine.....

You are ok, that is the envelope that the POE forwards to the USCIS for status processing.

yeah.....but what if Naples forgot to put the medical in there?

Maria - first of all 'Take a deep breath please'.

Jasman is right that was the correct envelope - why are you even worried Naples did not put the medical in there! I have not heard of this happening before so stop worrying yourself about this.

On the vaccination worksheet - you should have given that to the Civil Surgeon that you went to for your Varicella jab. He was then supposed to transfer this onto the correct form and this is what you send with the AOS.

However - maybe what you have is the correct form for your vaccinations from Naples already. So don't bother returning to the Civil Surgeon. Just send what he gave you, in with the worksheet you have, along with your AOS forms. Don't worry about the envelope - how are they going to know if you put it in an envelope of the clinic did!

Just for your info and maybe to help you worry less - I did not have a vaccination worksheet (still in the UK), I have not had the Civil Surgeon here do anything. I sent a color photocopy of my vaccination book from my regular GP, with the little labels off the bottles in it. I have had an RFE for the AOS already and it was not for the vaccination worksheet. I have now got a biometrics appt so they seem happy with what I sent. I may still get an RFE for thsi further on, but some people never even get asked for that vaccination supplement.

Try to worry less, it sounds to me like you are in a better position that I am and I have had no probs yet.
