I don't know about you guys, but to me it sucks big time to see that the peeps who filed two months after us are being approved.

I just want to scream. I am happy for everyone approved, but #######???? Why are we April filers being ignored?

I wish we are all jumping of joy....ya know....

Sorry for the rant. I just want to live with my love, here and now!

Got a question...I just received a letter from NVC, dated November 8th, stating approval for our I-129f, including a barcode, and also stating that it'll be forwarded to the embassy in a week or less. I find it strange, though, considering the fact that I received our NOA2's on November 7th, with approval November 6th. Isn't that a little fast? I thought that it would normally take 2 weeks or more to get NVC approval...should I be jumping for joy or concerned? And what now? Can I use any shortcuts to send in the application ahead of time?

John and Celia: Thats pretty cool. It looks like NVC already has your case and will be forwarding it to the local US emabssy. Good Luck.

As for my wife's K3 case, I just called NVC and they were able to confirm that they have received it at NVC on 11/08/07. Yay... but they still haven't forwarded it to the local embassy yet. The CSR I talked to at NVC told me that it generally takes about a week to forward but "in your case, due to holiday, it could be a few more days. Check back after few days." But I do have my NVC case number now. She was able to provide it to me.

So, Urge, it looks like USCIS to NVC receive time are down to about a week or so at this time, atleast judging from my NOA2. It was basically from 10/30 to 11/08.

Hope this helps anyone tracking their NVC receive/left dates.

Good Luck to all.

John and Celia,

Your transfer to NVC was very fast. Even when things for K3s were going really fast, Cali to NVC took about a week. You got there in 2 days! Yes, you should jump for joy. You can call NVC to see if they forwarded your case yet. It does not usually take 2 weeks to get through NVC for a K3. It is usually about 2 days. Good luck and congrats!:dance:

Congrats pkewl! :dance::thumbs:

Based on your post and John&Celia, that time to NVC is falling fast. I made it to NVC same day as you, Nov. 8. I did not call NVC yesterday because even though K3s go through NVC in an average of 2 days, I didn't expect it to go out due to the long weekend. I will call Thursday night or Friday morning and hope for the good news that it was forwarded on. Your conversation with the CSR tells me that I was probably right in my assumption, and am glad I skipped the call. Last thing I need is the frustration of hearing that I need to wait some more. I would rather call Friday morning and hear that they sent it out 2 days ago! What is really frustrating is that the petitions that arrived at NVC on wednesday 11/07 were already sent on to the embassies on 11/09. We are a day late, so we have to wait through a weekend, a holiday, and then some. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Still not there? So far, we have had no one report being received past Nov. 8. You must have missed that shipment. You should make the next one. Going back to March filers, there was talk of adjudicators who were slow sending the files on for further processing once they gave the  to the petitions Parachute4u, neel06 waited a little longer then their peers too.

Congrats pkewl and John & Celia. I must be the outlier at 22 days and counting.

Keep checking Edp333, they'll receive it soon :) Congrats to the new arrivals at the NVC. The good news is that the NVC received our case yesterday so at least we're officially out of the USCISs clutches  The lady Josh spoke to today said that it could take anything from 2-4 weeks to leave them (but keeping my hopes up that it'll be the fast processing NVC are known for).

Good luck to all those still waiting :)

Yep, you can email the embassy or you can try calling them too. That seems really fast to get to and out of NVC. NOA2 on 11/06, to and from NVC on 11/07? Hmm, how'd that happen. Others that made it to NVC on 11/07 were sent out on 11/09.

Cheryl,

Congrats on getting to NVC. It shouldn't take that long to get out of NVC. But, the holidays are in the way.... if we don't get out of by next Wednesday...... we are in for a really long weekend and then maybe some more days.

I called this NVC phone # 1-603-334-0700 and tried to use their automated system to get status on my docs. As I understood, my I-130 should not be transfered to NVC, and indeed when I use my WAC number (for 130), it is not there. But for my MSC number (for 129F) they don't have an automated response, they transfer me to speak with representative. But then, because of the heavy load, transfer me back to automated system. I wonder what is the best way to get status update for 129F docs? Did i do it right or wrong? Please share your experience. I was approved on 10/30 and got an official letter on 11/05. Reading some of the posts here I see that docs for some people have been already transfered to NVC and they were approved at the same time or even later.

Thank you.

andreydy,

You dialed the correct number. K3 petitions are not entered into the automated system, so you will have to take to a live person to get your status. It is often hard to get through to an operator during the day. They are available from 7:30 AM EST to 12:00 AM EST. The easiest way to get through to a person is to call at 7:30 in the morning or really late, like 11:30 PM.

Good luck

Thank you.

Urge To Race,

Thanks for a quick and easy explanation. Hopefully, when I will call today, they will say to me that my docs were received. It would be nice if they would send my docs to Ukraine this or next week before holidays.

I experienced the same process. The line was busy until 11:55 PM last night and shortly after told me I had to call back today. I agree that early or late is the best time to call. Such is life.
