Just to let everyone know Hassan picked up his packet 3 at the embassy in Kuwait on Monday January 21st so he will be scheduling his medical appointment soon. I will keep you updated.

Wow... after all that time! What on earth are USCIS doing Congratulations Divine Mercy Nice to have you back... did you have a good trip to see hubby?

They're CRAZY! If they only knew how much they turned our lives upside down because of telling me it's going to be terminated.. they even told my senators that! I just sent the $400 IV Bill last week *kicks self* That's ok... my hunny will be home THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't go to Lagos yet, we canceled the trip thinking we should try to divide the time apart up a lil more so I was planning to go for our anniversary/the baby's bday in May. Now it looks like I might be going in May for the INTERVIEW!! (I hope).

He sent me all the ####### he needs to take the embassy because the nvc wanted it.. police reports, original birth certificate etc. Now I get to carry it all back and hand deliver it to him!

I'm so excited. I have to tell u how it went down..

After hearing about DaveJaz getting the approval, I had a hint of hope again so I called them last week and they said I'm not yet outside the processing times because the processing times changed (of course) so I would be outside the times on Jan 21 (a holiday). So I called on Jan 22 and was told I'm not outside the processing times because I don't have a pending I130 and there ARE NO processing times for the I129F for a spouse. So I said to the guy, "be honest with me, this could go on forever right? I mean my petition could be 'on a shelf' a decade from now.. I could be 100 before it's looked at" the guy said, "actually that's very possible"

I said SCREW THIS I'm sticking with the CR1 and giving up all hope on this K3.

The very next day the I got a touch on the I129F and I thought maybe the call generated it although that's never happened to me before and I didn't call using the RFE trick. I don't even know why I checked it, habit I guess.

Last night the email arrived YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED

I SCREAMED OMG OMG OMG. I cried like a baby. No one could understand why I was crying so much because I'm happy. It was such a relief. After all this pressure and heartache FINALLY DONE! Thanks be to GOD!

Wow, this is great!!! Congrats to all of you.

Congrats to you MY HONEY, your K3 Journey has finally ended....you are sooooo lucky and I'm happy your honey is with you, where he belongs. Remember we were approved on the same day? Our case even left NVC on the same day...the only difference is that my case is still in MEXICO. We don't even have an interview date yet...this makes me sad.

G&A, congrats to both of you. Very happy to see you got the Visa. Keep us updated on AOS...we still need to hang together...

DivineMercy, this is great...after so much BS you went through with USCIS, you deserve it. GOD IS GOOD...and hopefully you will have your husband early this year. After everything I have seen here at VJ, I have learned NOT TO TRUST USCIS...they always lie.....they don't give a #@#$ about us.

This is a great way to start the year. Congrats!!!!

As for me, I will have to wait and wait...I just wish I knew the date....that's all. Our embassy is not like others around the world where you call or email them and they give you the info over the phone or the interview date via email. ALL They tell you is "WAIT FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT LETTER AND PACKAGE".

Anyways, best of luck to all of you who are still waiting....

NVC Finally sent the petition to Jordan on January 18th!!!

We are soooo Happy!!! We are now praying that the slow-downs were only at the CSC and NVC stage and that things will actually start to flow. God knows..yep He even knew that I'd get a ticket to see my husband on that day it was sent out from NVC to Jordan. Im praying and believing that this second trip there will be beneficial for us in more ways than emotionally and mentally..but also with his interview. His interview is also like a court case..where you have to prove your case. God hears, God knows, God sees and God can do all things beyond what we can ask or think. Although at times we may get shaken and disheartened, there is no one greater that we can turn to or rely on to help and see us through no matter what..and that is Our God.

Thank you to all of you who have and are praying for us..and also those who have taken the time to encourage, advise and share.. Also for those who has even thought of us and felt in their hearts goodness towards us..as well as others. Our prayers and thoughts (and words when the time calls for it) will continue to go out for all of you who are still going thru this process..this chapter in our lives.

A quick quesion to every one, in my I-129F it says valid from xx/xx/07 to mid of Marsh, does this date mean anything? and what if with our process through the embassy we haven't finsh untill that date?

This is real good news. Congrats. I sent this to your mailbox but decided to put it here for everyone's benefit

"Did you get an appointment date already? If not then you'll need to wait 5-10 business days for the file to get to the American Embassy in Jordan and based on that you can request your appointment date. Our appointment is going to be 4-1-2008. So you might get the same date and we may meet there then but I hope you can get a date earlier than that.

Next to that Ahmad needs to do his medical (fee is about 60JD approx $90) (and own police background check recommended). The embassy will give out a list of doctors they deal with. You will need to submit I-134 with all of the required evidence (pretty easy instructions when you download the form)

For K3, they will need

1- I-134 filled out completely and notarized

2- 1040 tax form notarized (if you have 2007 already then this would be best)

3- Employer letter stating your position salary ... etc (you can find req on the I-134 instruction sheet)

4- Notarized copy of your passport.

5*- Medical

6*- 2 personal pictures of Ahmad for the visa

*** Visa fee now is about $130 if I remember correct

All of the above can be submitted on the interview date. Are you going to be with Ahmad on the interview? (you don't have to but recommended)

All the K3s are valid for the same time frame. The consulates/embassy's routinely extend the validity of the approval if your journey hasn't completed No need to worry
