Ok, the updated chart.... added G&A, grrrlygrrl, and My Honey. Note, the chart here only includes people who have posted to this thread. If you have updates or want to be added, please post the info to this thread.

Also, note that the yellow backgrounds indicate estimated dates. Cheers.

UTR - Thanks for taking your time to keep up this chart! Next time you make an update, please add me. My I-129f was forwarded to the embassy (GZ) today, 11-23-07. Thanks again!

iray, my timeline is very close to yours. Did you receive a GUZ number from the NVC or is it issued after the transmittal to the Consulate in Guangzhou ??

What is the fastest way to obtain this number and find out if the package has been forwarded to GUZ?? My USCIS portfolio has not been updated since the NOA-2 on the 6th.

I am now in Guangzhou with my wife and will not return to California until the 2nd.

Thanks and best wishes !! ;)

I did receive the GUZ number. I called the NVC at 603 334 0700, and asked about the status of my case. I was told when it was sent to GZ, and given the GUZ number. We may pass in the airport, as I will be coming to GZ on the 2nd, and going on to Nanning to spend a few weeks with my wife.

Good luck with eveything!!

Just to let everyone know, I got an email from the embassy stating that they received our case, and that as soon as we want we can submit all the paperwork. I had already received packet 3 by email before, so I was able to get all the documents ready beforehand, now I have permission to submit everything. I think we're gonna shoot for the medical too before handing in the packet in order to get a quicker appointment. Good luck everyone!

John and Celia,

Great news! Good luck putting everything together. We are finishing up assembling packet 3. Hopefully the interviews will be quick. I will let you know if we experience any RFE or problems.

Congrats! It takes about 2 days for them to actually ship it to the embassy. Call back 2 days from when you they received it, and you should hear that its on its way.

I never waited more than 2 minutes each time I called, just lucky I guess. I called at 7:32 AM EST twice and once at 11:30 PM EST.

Hey folks! Add me to the list :) See Sig below.

on a different note, i am hoping all of you here have the same wording written on the I-130 NOA2 as below:

"The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. He or she should contact the local INS office to obtain Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence. A copy of this notice should be submitted with the application.

If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the United States based on this petition, the petitioner should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, with this office to request that we send the petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC)."

Hi G&A !!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

And wanted to thank you once again for keeping the awesome spreadsheet back when we were awaiting our approvals!

Good Luck To You!!!

Let me know if you hear something from NVC - looks like we're the two Canadian filers in this forum (Lucky YOU gets to go through Vancouver - I hear the wait time for interview is MUCH faster than Montreal)!

Urge to Race

I hope you can add me to the list J , I have received (hard copy) my NOA2 dated Nov 20, with post mark 21st,

And I don’t know why both my I-130 and I-129F NOA wording stated that they have been transferred to NVC!! Very different from G & A, I don’t know why?

The embassy I am aiming for is Addis - Ethiopia

Thanks in advance
