Hi all

We have all been hanging out in the April and May/June filers thread for our approvals. Now, lets use this thread to track our progress to NVC!!! Any updates yet? Anyone call to see if NVC got it?

04/16/2007 - Sent I-130 to VSC via USPS Express Mail

05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

04/11/2008 - picked up packet 4, did medical

04/14/2008 - medical report pickup, no problems

04/16/2008 - interview date- APPROVED!!!!!

04/18/2008 - both of us are home at last, POE JFK!

05/21/2008 - sent AOS and EAD

05/27/2008 - received NOA1 for AOS and for EAD

06/02/2008 - received Biometrics appt letter

06/19/2008 - Biometrics appointment scheduled - DONE

06/19/2008 - both AOS and EAD touched because of biometrics

07/29/2008 - EAD approved.

05/13/2009 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!/ Card production ordered email

05/18/2009 - Welcome Letter received

06/12/2009 - Second card production ordered email

06/19/2009 - Approval notice send email

06/22/2009 - Green Card received

04/09/2012 - Applied for Citizenship by Express Mailing N400 to NBC

04/10/2012 - N400 received by USCIS

06/23/2012 - Biometrics appointment

07/27/2012 - Appointment scheduled for N400 interview

09/05/2012 - Interview passed, oath ceremony completed, and Naturalization certificate received.

supernova, I know it has been taking over a month to get to NVC lately. I am hoping that things will pick up here. If they really wait to fill a trailer, maybe with all the recent approvals, that trailer will fill quicker than we think. I plan on waiting to hit 2 weeks before I call NVC (next monday).

I hope things pick up also. In the K1 forum it has been taking 30 days plus to get into the NVC system. At least one VJ member reported NVC is delayed in receipting petitions once they receive them.

May the NVC get caught up!!

My NOA2 was 30 days ago. I got an email from NVC yesterday Oct. 28th. They state that my case has not been recieved by NVC yet.

I POSTED ONE ON ANOTHOR THREAD BUT I CAN ACROSS THIS ON AND I CALL THEM ABOUT 45 MINS AGO OR SO AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY JUST RECEIVED IT TODAY AND I HAD CALLED THIS MORNING SO IF YOU ARE AS NERVOUSE AS I WAS I WOULD SUGGEST CALLING IN THE AM AND PM BC THEY MAY HAVE GOTTEN DURING THE DAY AND ALSO ONE MAN SUGGESTED TO ME THAT I CALL AT ABOUT 10 PM BC IT IS EASIER TO GET THROUGH WELL BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL AND I HOPE THINGS GO MUCH FASTER FROM NOW ON LOL :star:

It has been 2 weeks exactly, as you all can see, and still nothing from NVC. I'm not expecting anything within the next 2 weeks though, according to what the timelines and processing time for NVC to receive the petition looks like right now (about 4 to 5 weeks). If 11/15/2007 rolls around, and I haven't received anything by that time, then I will start worrying again. Ahhhhhh, is it just me or is this some sort of vicious cycle???

10/15/2007--NOA2 Date, FINALLY!!

I-129F/K-3 visa

05/23/2007--NOA1 date, currently at NBC (MSC)

10/15/2007--APPROVED!!! (NOA2 Date)

11/09/2007--I-129F petition forwarded to U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru

12/12/2007--interview in Lima, Peru...VISA APPROVED!!!

12/26/2007--POE was Miami, FL and final destination was Charlotte, NC

I-485/AOS and I-765/EAD

3/18/2008--NOA1 Date from MSC

4/08/2008--biometrics appointment

5/07/2008--I-765/EAD approved

5/14/2008--EAD received in the mail (albeit wrong birth year)

9/30/2008--AOS Interview...AOS APPROVED and I-551 stamped in Passport!!!

Hey all, I'm sitting at 41 days now and still hasn't been received by nvc. strap in and hang on it seems like the ride is gonna go on for awhile.

15/05/2007 Sent 129f to Nebraska transferred to Csc

29/05/2007 Recieved noa1

01/06/2007 Touch

15/08/2007 Called csc. told working on apps from 14/05/2007

15/08/2007 Touch(Due to phone call)

16/08/2007 Touch( phone call or did it finally get assigned?)

We're going to wait at least 30 days before we start chasing the NVC, anything sooner than that and we'll just end up stressing ourselves out each time we hear it hasn't been received.
